So Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver showed up at the Belfast airport in Ireland. I think my favorite thing about it is Daisy and Adam’s efforts to hide their faces through jackets and sunglasses
I know this is supposed to be a man and a woman looking at each other but all I saw was a transgendered man dreaming of being a Knight.
Are. Are you sure that’s not what it is? Because. That is absolutely how I saw it and I literally cannot see it any other way.
Yeah, nope that is the first thing I thought of too. He wants to be the knight in shining armor. or even Genderfluid bae as their own princess and knight

I can’t tell if it’s water or crystal, but both are given the mystical properties of (self-)reflection and revealing the truth
If it was meant to be romantic between a guy and gal, their hands wouldn’t be touching at the fingertips like that. There’d be a fuller contact (i.e. palm to palm), or they’d be reaching out to each other but not quite making contact (to symbolize the divide that still separated them)
The one scene where she’s telling me why she has to free this creature, we rehearsed it forever. We rehearsed it day and night, day and night, because she wanted to practice sign, and I wanted to understand what she was saying so I didn’t get ahead of her or behind her. And when we shot it, it was nothing like we rehearsed, which is the best thing. She actually hit me, which we had never done, and it happened because I said [to myself], “I’m gonna look at my watch halfway through this,” and so I looked at my watch and she–wham! hit me–and I said, “You hit me!” You know, but that’s the take he [Guillermo] used. – Richard Jenkins
