Have you always been alone? Did you ever have someone? Do you know what happened to you…do you? ‘Cause I don’t. I don’t know what happened to me. I don’t know. I look in the mirror, the only thing I recognize are these eyes, in this old man’s face, and sometimes I think I was either born too early or too late for my life. Maybe we’re both just relics.

‘Jesus’ comes from a shortening of the Hebrew version of the name Joshua, while ‘Christ’ simply means ‘the anointed one.’ To make this clearer to modern Christians, I propose a new Bible translation where Jesus is referred to only as “oily Josh”

There’s something really unsavory about oily Josh and his 12 teenage friends.

  • I imagine the Lady Inquisitor would make a pendant out of Cullen’s Good Luck Coin
  • She’d enlist Harrit and Dagna’s help in creating a break-resistant chain (because magic), to ensure it’s not ripped from her neck in the heat of battle
  • She’d keep it out of view tucked underneath her shirt, absentmindedly bringing her hand up to where it rests on her chest during the long stretches of time she spends away from Skyhold, feeling a little more lion-hearted for it
  • The first time Cullen ever sees it is during their first night together
  • It stuns him into silence as he slowly brushes against the coin-turned-talisman with his fingertips, as the Inquisitor nervously explains it was easier to carry this way and ifhedidn’tlikeitthenshecouldalwayshaveHarritremoveitfromthefiligree-
  • only to have her nerves dissipate when his face breaks out into a genuine delighted smile and a whisper of “it’s perfect” before he claims her lips with his
  • On the mornings he wakes before her in a panic from the nightmares, he tries to calm himself by watching the rise and fall of her chest, and the little coin that rests there in the valley of her breasts
  • It brings him an immeasurable amount of joy to know that no matter where this war may take them, she carries a piece of him close to her heart
