How does it feel to be home? I
believe I have been asked that exact question enough times that I have taken to
using a weak smile and a nod in response. What should I say? This is not my
home. Assuming because a fair many years ago I was born in the same general
area as the crow flies is akin to assuming I knew every Fereldan who entered
Kirkwall’s city gates.

Of greater concern is the state of the
Order and the Circle. Lady Cassandra’s assessment belied the chaos that grips
these lands. The people fear both more than I have ever seen and it begs the
question, will this conclave offer a solution or a means to incite?

Perhaps my view is tainted through
years of riding the wake of chaos, but without a clear goal, an incorruptible leader
and the means to set things right? Thedas balances on a knife’s point. So
delicate is her future, we must tread with care.
