Guys…can we please discuss why there is a no gun sign on the fridge and why the hell the Normandy crew needs it there to begin with??? (My creds are on Wrex.)

Cause guns go in the freezer.

I feel like this originated with the SR1 back when weapons overheated all the time. Garrus, Wrex and Ash all sitting around in the cargo bay swapping ‘gun hacks’ and Garrus proudly explains how Solana told him once that you can rapidly cool down your overheated rifle in the freezer.

Ashley told him in no uncertain terms that he was a deadset idiot if he believed that. Wrex said nothing.

2 days later, the Normandy had to check into the Citadel for emergency repairs because Wrex thought Garrus’ sister’s ‘hack’ would be even BETTER if he tried it on the high powered nitrogen freezer in the Med Bay. The ammo block contracted so rapidly that it shattered and fragmented like a grenade.

After that, weapons were banned from going anywhere near freezers and warning stickers got slapped all over them in case anyone was stupid enough to try it again.
